What was broken
RegAhead turns global regulatory mandates into monitored controls for banks, insurers, NBFCs and fintechs. It's a genuinely difficult thing to explain, and the audience — risk and compliance officers — have no patience for a page that takes three scrolls to say what it is.
What made it hard
The category's own vocabulary is the obstacle. 'Regulator-first risk intelligence with audit-grade accountability' is precise and means nothing to someone who hasn't already bought one.
What I decided
Show the product instead of naming it. Put the actual control chain — regulator, clause, control, evidence — in the hero as a live, hoverable object, so the mechanism is understood before the sentence describing it is finished.
What shipped
Next.js and Tailwind: interactive chain widget, control-posture strip, audience-split navigation, animated proof band, and a light/dark pair.
The moment it worked
Once the chain was in the hero the copy could get shorter, not longer. The demo request stopped needing a paragraph of setup — the widget had already done it.
What it left behind
The chain graphic went into the sales deck. The site and the pitch now explain the product the same way.
How it looks, and why
Regtech buyers are auditors by temperament, so the site is built to survive being audited. Warm paper rather than the usual fintech navy, a bold grotesk for claims, and green used strictly as a pass state — on a compliant control, a met obligation, the demo CTA — never as decoration. The logo's blue stays with the regulator end of the chain and the green with the evidence end, so the colour is carrying the argument rather than filling space.

The live control chain
Regulator → clause → control → evidence, drawn as a traceable chain you can hover stage by stage. It shows the product working in the hero instead of describing it.
Control posture strip
Forty-seven controls as coloured cells — pass, warning, breach — so posture reads at a glance the way a real dashboard would.
Audience-split navigation
Platform, Why RegAhead, Regulators and Company as separate paths, because a bank, an NBFC and a regulator arrive with different questions.
